Recurve limbs for Picchio Testarossa with a natural wood layer on top, designed to offer an exceptional shooting experience. Built with Actionwood Bamboo (made by glued stripes of bamboo to creat a uniform lamination) with decreasing thickness towards the tip; Costruiti con Bamboo Actionwood (composto da strisce di bambù incollate per creare una struttura omogenea) a spessore decrescente verso il tip; placed between two Carbon laminations designed by me to create a “sanwich” that is Lightweight, Fluid to Draw, with high Torsional Resistace and gives the maximum velocity to the arrow. All of this is covered by natural wood wich further lowers vibrations and offers a unique natural look.
Our new CARBONWOOD Limbs have natural wood directly above the carbon fiber, allowing us to remove the fiberglass layer, they offer a great feeling of stability allowing a precise and pleasant shooting experience.
The woods i’ve decided to overlay to the carbon fiber are; Yew, Linden Root, Olive, Santos Rosewood, Ziricote, Ebony Macassar, Rio Rosewood.
